Where instrumental assessment is indicated, we are able to refer on to external service providers for videofluroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) and Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).

We can assist with selecting suitable communication devices and guide you through the device trial process including recommendation reports and comprehensive education in how to use a range of communication devices. If you already have a device and would like further assistance with using it, we can provide this intervention also. We are experienced in using a range of communication devices including low technology options (e.g. communication chat books, visual schedule, PECS, PODD) and high tech options (e.g. iPad applications, eye gaze technology and switching).

We are experienced in providing language therapy for people who have experienced a neurological condition (e.g. stroke) and have difficulty getting their message out and/or understanding information from others. This is commonly referred to as aphasia.
Similarly, we are able to provide therapy for those experiencing unclear speech (dysarthria) as a result of a neurological condition.
We welcome neurological presentations such as Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, stroke and more.
