Armed with her Masters in Speech Pathology, Narelle has honed her craft working across a variety of clinical settings since 2014. Narelle's career began in a special developmental school where her passion for augmentative and alternative (AAC) forms of communication began. After this, she spent a number of years working in the Victorian public healthcare sector in acute, inpatient rehabilitation and community settings. With an interest in partnering with indigenous communities, Narelle moved to Central Australia to deliver speech therapy in rural and remote indigenous communities.
Upon returning to Melbourne, Narelle worked in a specialist movement disorders clinic working with clients with progressive neurological conditions in addition to taking on an NDIS caseload. Narelle opened her own practice as she saw a need for evidence-based intervention in the NDIS. In addition to working privately, Narelle continues to enjoy her weekend role in an acute hospital in Melbourne.
