At Engage Speech Therapy our mission is to partner with you to empower you to reach your goals, develop your communication skills and develop relationships to enable you to participate fully in what matters to you.

Mobile & Online
Online: Reduce face to face contact by having therapy sessions in the comfort of your own home. We offer these services via the online platform Zoom.
Face to face: As a mobile therapy service, we can come to you at your home, day program or aged care facility. We are currently servicing the Eastern and Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Can't stop coughing when you're eating? Sick of that feeling of food getting stuck in your throat?
We are here to help!
We provide comprehensive swallow assessments, inclusive of a detailed dysphagia report and mealtime management guideline. Where instrumental assessment is indicated, we are able to refer on to external service providers for videofluroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) and Fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).

We can assist with selecting suitable communication devices and guide you through the device trial process including recommendation reports and comprehensive education in how to use a range of communication devices. If you already have a device and would like further assistance with using it, we can provide this intervention also. We are experienced in using a range of communication devices including low technology options (e.g. communication chat books, visual schedule, PECS, PODD) and high tech options (e.g. iPad applications, eye gaze technology and switching).

Is your speech unclear? Do people have difficulty understanding you? Do you find it difficult to think of the right word?

We are experienced in providing language therapy for people who have experienced a neurological condition (e.g. stroke) and have difficulty getting their message out and/or understanding information from others. This is commonly referred to as aphasia.
Similarly, we are able to provide therapy for those experiencing unclear speech (dysarthria) as a result of a neurological condition.
We welcome neurological presentations such as Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, stroke and more.
